Is this California driver Ed course right for me?
If you are between the ages of 15 ½ and 17 ½ and would like to get a permit in the state of California, you must complete California driver education. You can begin our course at the age of 15 ½. This course fully satisfies California driver’s Ed requirements and is accepted by the California DMV.

How long is this course?
The state requires the driver Ed course to last a minimum of 30 hours. This includes 25 hours of learning and 5 hours of required breaks throughout the course.

When will I get my driver Ed certificate?
Your certificate is processed the day you graduate. Please allow 10 business days to receive it via U.S. first-class mail. There is no extra charge.
Do I have to take a written test at the DMV?
Yes, all applicants will need to pass a 46-question written exam at the DMV after completing the driver education course.
What age can you start driver Ed in California?
You can start our driver’s Ed in California when you are 15 ½ years old. You can obtain your learner’s permit 6 months after your 15th birthday.
How old do you have to be to get a driver’s license in California?
You can apply for a provisional license once you turn 16 years old, but all driving restrictions will be lifted once you turn 18 years old.
